
Dr Amit Tripathi is a professional explorer with specialization in establishing structural controls of mineralization. He is Founder and Director of MPXG Exploration. He has been part of senior management of many international junior companies, prominent being VP Exploration for Sunward Resources, Canada; Exploration Manager for Goviex Uranium, Niger and Exploration Manager for Goviex Gold, Australia. In over 20 countries he has managed successful exploration projects in a variety of occurrences of gold, base metals, uranium, diamonds, COLTAN etc. Major exploration successes are 14 Moz Au-Cu Porphyry in Colombia, +170Mlb Uranium in Niger, and a major lateritic iron ore discovery in Guinea.

Dr V.N. Vasudev is Ph.D. in Economic Geology from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has explored in 42 countries for Gold, Copper, Lead, Zinc, Nickel, Magnetite Iron Ore and PGE. Lead exploration teams to major mineral discoveries viz: Discovered extensions of Ingaldhal Copper Mines, India; +1 Moz Ganajur Gold Deposit; +1 Moz gold deposit in Jonnagiri. Dr.D.B.Guha is Ph.D. from Panjab University, Chandigarh in the year 1985 and MSc Banaras Hindu University in 1979, Worked in the Geological Survey of India from August 1984 to July 2017 and retired as Dy. Director General. Structurally and geologically mapped metamorphic, magmatic and sedimentary terrains of fold belts and cratonic parts of Rajasthan and the Himalayas. Petrology of high grade granulite rocks and greenstones of Rajasthan, India. Explored minerals – Gold, base metals and Rare Earth Element bearing minerals. Compiled maps – GQM second generation, mineral belts, 50K maps. Spearheaded Capacity Building activities for training personnel and HR management. Policy matter planning of geological activities of Western Region Northern Region and Northeastern Region, GSI and its monitoring.

Dr. M.K. Devarajan has more than 3 decades of experience in geological mapping and exploration for base metals, gold etc. Currently he is the Head of Exploration in Geovale Services, Kolkata.

Sri Om Prakash Somani did his Post Gradation in Applied Geology from Department of Geology, Udaipur Rajasthan in the year 1987. Served Atomic Minerals Directorate For Exploration and Research (AMD), in 1989 to 2013 and worked in various exploration projects of Uranium, Rare Earths Elements ( REE), Rare Metals (Li, Be, Nb-Ta etc). Now working with MSPL Ltd, exploring Gold and Rare earths. At MSPL Ltd, developed a unique Rare Earth deposit in carbonatites associated with a Tertiary Alkaline Complex in Barmer district of Rajasthan. Currently serving as Vice-President Exploration at MSPL Ltd. Apart from mineral exploration interest literary writing and published a novel titled “Peppered Minds” in February 2020. The novel is written sketching social and work circumstances of a young geologist.

Sri Pramod Kumar is former Additional Director of Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMD) with over 37 years of professional experience in geological exploration of atomic minerals (mainly Uranium and beach sand) in diverse geological terrains of India namely (a) Quartz pebble conglomerate type of uranium in the Dharwar Super group ( b) Vein type uranium deposits in the Singhbhum Shear Zones (c) Carbonate hosted strata bound type of uranium deposit at Tummalapalle of Kadapa basin (d) Proterozoic metasediments of Champaner basin (e) Son Valley migmatites of Sonbhadra (e) Lesser Himalayan metasediments around Almora (f) Albitite related uranium deposits along the North Delhi Fold Belt (g) Sandstone type of uranium deposits in the Mahadek Basin.
Associated with the exploratory mining activities such as shaft sinking, decline making, guiding of ore drive, underground mapping, channel sampling and preparation of assay plans etc., at Baghjata and Tummalapalle mines.

Dr.N.P.Nathan completed his Post-graduation in Geology in 1977 from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu and obtained his Ph.D., from Mysore University. He served in Geological Survey of India from 1979 to 2015 and retired as Deputy Director General of the GSI, Western Region, Jaipur. He has more than 36 years of professional experience in Geological Mapping, Mineral investigations and R&D Projects on Petrology and Geochemistry of the Granitoids, Mafic dyke swarms and Alkaline-Carbonatite Complexes in Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. Significant achievement in the field of Mineral investigation, especially in Honnali and Gadag gold fields of Karnataka, Copper investigation in Black Mountain Ranges of Central Bhutan and Platinum Group of Elements in Ultramafic-mafic complexes of Tamil Nadu, besides RM-REE investigations in Granites, pegmatites and carbonatites. He is the Recipient of prestigious National Geoscience Award 2011 for his discovery and exploration for PGE in Sittampundi Complex

Dr.Chandrasekaran V (former Director, GSI). Ph.D. in Geochemistry from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. M.Sc. in Geology from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, DIPLOMA in computer programming and application from Indian Institute of Computer Science, Chennai. Served Geological Survey of India near thirty-seven years from 1977 to 2015. Carried out Systematic Geological Mapping throughout India. ELEVEN YEARS in intensive Mineral Exploration TWO YEARS in Publication and Geodata Divisions TEN YEARS experience in GIS and and digital map making including heading the Map & Cartography Division. TWO YEARS headed the GSI Training Institute, Hyderabad.
